Characteristics of the electronic invoice in Sweden

The electronic invoice has been mandatory for central public administrations since 2008. This obligation was expanded in 2019 to include all other regional and municipal administrations. It is also mandatory for suppliers of public administrations to send electronic invoices. It is completely voluntary for B2B transactions.
