EDICOM has implemented its e-Invoicing solution for 36 European hospitals as part of the HOSP&INVOICE European Project
The HOSP&INVOICE project, where EDICOM´s B2B Cloud Platform was implemented as an e-Invoicing solution for 36 hospitals from Belgium, Austria, Hungary and Italy, will soon come to its end. Each hospital is now able to receive and process cross-border electronic invoices compliant with the 2014/55/EU e-Invoicing Directive.
EDICOM, who also coordinated this project, supported its clients to follow the aforementioned e-Invoicing Directive aligned with the European Standard (OASIS UBL 2.1 and UN/CEFACT CII syntaxes). HOSP&INVOICE is one of the pilot projects that EDICOM has promoted around Europe, supporting hospitals, laboratories, and other healthcare providers to follow the e-Invoicing European Directives.
The timeline of projects that have been coordinated by EDICOM:
- HOSP&INVOICE: Public Hospitals from Belgium, Poland, Austria, Hungary and Italy prepared to the e-Invoicing European Norm (2017-EU-IA-0146).
- GOV2EU: Supporting public entities to adopt EU Standard on electronic invoice for cross-border transactions (2016-EU-IA-0096).
- GOVEIN: European e-Invoicing Project: implementation of the European electronic invoice within the Public Healthcare sector (2015-EU-IA-0058).
HOSP&INVOICE is co-funded by the INEA Agency of the European Commission through the Connecting Europe Facility Programme in Telecom (CEF Telecom), an instrument designed to facilitate cross-border interaction between public bodies, businesses, and citizens.
By participating and leading these projects and implementing its technology and know-how, EDICOM has facilitated the adaptation of the e-Invoicing Directive amongst Public entities in the EU.
EDICOM strongly promotes European interoperability and the use of standardized electronic documents in Healthcare Sector across the countries in the European Union.
