Discover how ASICS automated their processes with key retailers
Automating EDI processes is a key part for retailers seeking to optimize their operations. This enables improved accuracy and reliability, enhances visibility, and strengthens collaboration across the supply chain.
By automating Order-To-Cash and Procure-To-Pay processes, retailers can significantly reduce manual errors and processing time which naturally leads to improved efficiency and cost savings. This implementation also enables real-time visibility into inventory levels, order status, and other critical information.
Retailers can establish seamless integrations through the supply chain by encouraging all parties to adopt automated EDI systems. This integration fosters greater transparency, efficiency, and agility when responding to market dynamics, ultimately increasing customer satisfaction and solidifying a competitive advantage.

ASICS is a brand that has become synonymous with high-quality footwear and apparel. The company’s founder, Kihachiro Onitsuka, dedicated his life to creating shoes that would help athletes perform to the best of their abilities.
The name ASICS was chosen for a meaningful reason - it stands for ‘Anima Sana In Corpore Sano’, which translates to "a Sound Mind in a Sound Body”. It was originally inspired by the Latin phrase ‘Mens Sana in Corpore Sano’, but although ASICS replaced the word ‘Mens’ with ‘Anima’, the essence of the phrase remains the same. The ASICS name demonstrates that the company has always believed in the beneficial effects of exercising.
"Our purpose has always been to support people to play sports so that they feel better, both physically and mentally. And more than 70 years on, we believe that our focus on the mind and our role as a caregiver is more relevant today than ever before."
